The Pagan Federation was founded in
1971 to provide information on Paganism and to counter
misconceptions about the religion. The Pagan Federation works
for the rights of Pagans to worship freely and without worry.
Today, we provide education and networking
opportunities to members both in the US, and around the world.
The Pagan Federation publishes a quarterly journal,
Pagan Dawn, which reaches over 10,000 readers.
Members
have access to both members-only and public events, and
maintains personal contact with individual members and with
the wider Pagan community across the US and internationally.
The aims of the Pagan Federation are to:
- Provide
contact between seekers of the Old Ways.
- Promote
contact and dialogue between Pagan organizations
world-wide.
- Provide practical and effective
information on Paganism to the public and the media.
Membership, subject to our approval, is offered to any
Pagan over 18 years of age who agrees with the following three
principles:
1. Love for and Kinship with Nature.
Reverence for the life force and its ever-renewing cycles of
life and death.
2. A Positive Morality, in which the
individual is responsible for the discovery and development of
their true nature in harmony with the outer world and
community. This is often expressed as: Do what you will, as
long as it harms none .
3. Recognition of the Divine,
which transcends gender, acknowledging both the female and
male aspect of Deity.
